The mission of “Il Gran Gusto del Sud” (the great taste of the South), an initiative conceived and developed by Shara, is to promote products from the southern Italian region through dishes created by young professionals from the food and wine sector. These emerging masters proudly carry forward the traditions they have inherited with innate passion, inspired by the sun-kissed Mediterranean landscape. This gastronomic journey highlights the specialties of the Campania region and southern Italy in general—an unmissable opportunity for all those who love the “great taste of the South”. The launch event, part of the ambitious Terronian Project, was held in March 2013 in the evocative surroundings of the Batis restaurant in Baia.
